Review | BB Nivea Cream vs CC Physicians Formula Cream
The warm weather has arrived and I like to wear something coloured enough to even your skin but without the weight of a normal foundation. So I decided to go with the BB/CC creams. I tried these 2 but I found some difrerences so I decided to review them:
- BB Cream, Nivea
Promises to even, moisturise, cover and brighten your skin. I don’t really disagree with that but I have combination skin and I have problems with this product in my T zone. I didn’t like the result in those particular areas so I kinda gave up on this cream, which is a pity because I was happy with the coverage power.
I have it in the Light tone, but you can forget using it without having some tan in your face. Not light at all! Also, I found the texture really heavy which is a feature that I don’t want in a BB cream.
Has a SPF 10.
Bought it in London, at about 6£.
- Organic Wear CC Cream, Physicians Formula
First of all, this is a 100% natural origin cream, which I think is the best thing about this product. Super light weight, so you don’t really feel that you’re wearing anything in your face and I think it’s just perfect for the Summer weather. Really like how my skin looks with this product.
I’m not sure if it comes in more than 1 tone but I have mine in Light to Medium. I bought it at Primor website and they don’t really say the tone, so I tought it would be an universal, adjusts-to-your-skintone kinda cream. Actually I was really lucky because it matches my tone but I would say I won’t be able to use it during winter time since I’m kinda taned now. At least, it’s not as misleading as the BB Nivea Cream.
Has a SPF 20 (super happy with that!).
Bought it at Primor, for 12,99€. I think it’s a very nice price for a natural origin cream.
Even though these are slighty different products, I use them the same way with the same end so when I compare them, the winner for me is, without a doubt, the Physicians Formula CC Cream.
